Meet Jennifer Lyons: Licensed Acupuncturist in Carlsbad, CA
Jennifer Lyons has been a Licensed Acupuncturist practicing in Carlsbad, California since 2009. She enjoys working with a diverse patient population and successfully treats a wide variety of ailments. The most common reason people seek an acupuncturist is for pain. Jennifer sees patients who have persistent or sometimes daily pain, and treats conditions such as backache, headache, fibromyalgia, chronic sinusitis, asthma, anxiety, insomnia, and neurological disorders.
Jennifer also specializes in women’s health, fertility and pregnancy issues. As the mother of a young child, it is one of her passions to help women who are having difficulty conceiving, and to work with women during their pregnancies to keep them as healthy and comfortable as possible.
Jennifer graduated among the top of her class from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, receiving a Master of Science in Oriental Medicine in 2009. She is certified and licensed by the California Acupuncture Board and designated a Diplomate in Oriental Medicine by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). Following graduation from Pacific College, Jennifer continued her studies at the Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Sichuan Province, China.
Jennifer also holds a B.A. in Environmental Studies from the University of Vermont. Her previous career was in the field of preventive medicine and public health. She is the mother of a young child, and loves to swim, hike and play soccer.
Jennifer strongly believes that acupuncture and oriental medicine can be important parts of a comprehensive approach to living a happy and healthy lifestyle.
Our office is located in the heart of downtown Carlsbad, CA, with convenient access via car from the I-5 and Highway 78.
